Very unique and very cool. I like the fact that you can draw the weapon with your support hand. If your fighting for your primary and your strong hand is retaining it, then you can draw and end the fight with the BUG in your support hand.

Good job. How much for a G 9/40 mag and a 640 holster?

Good looking site Rhome.

The navigation section could be bold or different font to make it stick out some. Great pics... I need to work on my pics

Hello again, Swiftyjuan asked me to post a pic of his NYRL holster because he has yet to join us in the 21st century, and buy a camera .

Thanks, hopefully I'm getting a little better at taking pictures, but I know I still need lots of practice.

Best and, Merry Christmas

Any chance of getting a holster like that for carrying a small auto pistol like the Ruger LCP.

A solution of that sort has existed for some time.
I posted about it a while back and provided pics to demonstrate the products flexibility.

Funny thing is upon seeing this thread here with this very interesting holster rig it makes me think even more maybe there is something to wearing two pistols, plus a spare mag, as opposed to that of one or two spare mags only.

Go to this link to see pics of the product I'm referring to; Dual 1911's - not SOB, but similar...
Different than this holster but like this vendor they too do custom work, as was my unit, so positioning of the secondary pistol holster pocket can be pretty placed where ever you might desire.

When I talked to Rhome about this type of holster I had several things in mind...Primarily an easy way to carry a BUG in a plain-clothes/off-duty/CCW manner...I prefer a second gun or BUG to be readily accessible and easy to draw with the support hand. I've tried ankle holsters, belly bands, pocket holsters, and several others, and they have never worked quite right for me. I have decided I wanted to try a BUG holster on the support hand side, behind the primary handgun reload...Giving me the availability to perform a standard reload if need-be, or go to a second gun if I am in a fight for the primary handgun or if my strong side hand is disabled for some reason (or if the primary goes down, etc.).

I carried a second gun in uniform (usually in the straps of my vest) and I'm trying to find the best way to do the same in a plain-clothes capacity...This was something I definitely wanted to try, and Rhome made it for me!!!

Apparently there was some confusion with the "NewYork Reload" name, so the holster has been renamed the "Badger Reload Holster" in honor of the creator (see post above)!
