The New York "Badger" Reload Holster - NEW!

As you all know, Rhome finally returned from the Philippines and is back making holsters. He asked me to try his new backup holster, and I am in love! I wore it all day, and truly forgot I had it on.

As I am fairly new to the shooting sports, How exactly does the magazine fit into that revolver?

The mag fits very nicely in the Kimber Ultra Carry that I carry on the other side! If I run out of ammo for the Kimber, I have 5 rounds of .38+P. I usually pocket carry the 642, but this is fast and really comfortable. And yes, the 642 can be drawn with the mag in place!

That's a cool idea. I recently stopped carrying a BUG but if I went back I think that might be a pretty good way to go.

I did think that the revolver could be a BUG and should have gone with that. They do say howver that there is no such thing as a stupid question. Right??

I was so excited about the holster that I gave a very brief (read lousy) description; it was not a stupid question!

Just laying that holster on the table could confuse quite a few individuals...

Am I correct in assuming that this setup is for left (weak) side of a person whose strong side in on the right? (has to be)

Absolutely correct! I think that one of our members, who is also a Sheriff's Lieutenant, came up with the design. I just need one for each type of mag for different carry guns now! This could get expensive...
