Nothing is worse when you go to grab the gun and you can't get a full grip because there is leather hitting the web of your hand.
I personally would get the combat grip option. |

When I ordered mine, this wasn't even an option (very early in the companies history). Mark responded to my post on another Forum complaining about the grip, that anyone who wanted a "full firing combat grip" should let him know on ordering (and he offered to perform this for existing customers if they sent their holsters back).
While Mark still contends he has thousands of happy customers without the cut (including those who carry a gun for a living), I still cannot see how a holster company can offer a holster without a proper grip on drawing. To my way of thinking, this is the only proper way to have a holster set up. I may be in the minority on that, but personally I wouldn't order another without the cut.

I voted no, get the regular one and if you don't like it make the combat grip yourself.

I didn't choose that option when I bought my Supertuck. I figure if I find that I need the feature, I can cut it myself, and it'll be custom to MY grip, and not a generic cut.
However, so far, I haven't seen a need to make the cut, and I use my Supertuck for EDC and IDPA. -JT |

I ordered two without the combat grip and ended up cutting it myself. Makes a huge difference in drawing from the holster for me.

I have always worn an undershirt... since high school actually... so I would order it with it because the grip rubbing up against me isn't that big of a deal, and I'd rather have a good grip on my weapon.

I do not have the cut and I do not have problems drawing my weapon. Get it without and make the cut yourself if you feel you need to.
