GLOCK 27 in pocket works...

I have found that I can carry my GLOCK 27 in my front pants pocket (khakis, not thin suit) just about as easy as I can my Kel-Tec PF9. There is a trick to it. I didn't used to think this would work. But I have discovered that if I use a partially zippered P3AT gun rug as a holster, it works. I don't know why, but it works. The draw is speedy enough, too. The outline of the rug masks the pistol outline. It works. So, my G27 will be my pocket carry from now on on week days, when I'm wearing khakis. P3AT in my suit pants on Sunday. Note: I'm carrying with an empty chamber. I know some will think that heresy, but it's not a real holster, and I'd rather be safe from any possibility of a negligent discharge. Here's a photo:

As long as you re-holster with the pocket holster out of the pants you should be able to go with one in the tube with no problems. The trigger is covered and can't be accidently pulled.

But that's just my 2 cents worth.

If I wore pants with large pockets I wouldn't hesitate to go that way with my G26.

A Glock in your front pocket?
Your pants are considerably less snug than mine. I couldn't even think about anything thicker than a KelTec in my front pocket...more power to ya'.

Kids hanging on me

I have grandchildren visiting, or I would go for one in the tube. But my 5-year-old grandkids climb all over me, and I wouldn't put it past one of them sticking her hand in my pocket just to see what was there. Kids are unpredictable, except you can predict they will do what you don't want them to do.
So, after they go home after Christmas, I may try one in the tube. But not until then.

I carry my G26 in my pocket sometimes too. I use an Uncle Mikes el cheapo IWB holster and remove the clip. Its quite thin. And had the pocket enlarged on my Wrangler jeans. Doesn't hide well straight out of the drier but after a couple of hours they loosen up and even though it prints noone notices if I wear a shirt untucked. I've tested that by going to my local motorcycle shop, talked to the owner about local crime wave, he brought up carry so I asked if he could tell I was carrying he couldnt believe I had a Glock in my pocket.

The key is the p3at gun rug. I have tried other holsters, etc., but nothing else works for me. Don't have a good explanation.
