I did the same as you. Used to carry on the right and switched to left (opposite of pistol).

As others have posted, wallet goes in the weak hand side pocket.

I carry two wallets. The one with my creds goes in the weak hand side pocket because if I'm ever in a shooting, or have to hold somebody at gunpoint, I want to be able to show my ID because my gun hand may be occupied. This is especially important when I'm wearing "civilian" clothing.

I'm right handed and have always carried my wallet in my left pocket. Won't be a problem when I start carrying in March.

My suggestion: start putting your wallet in your front pocket.
Exactly what i do, and for the same reasons.

Why carry cash and credit cards in same place? When you make a purchase you pretty much know if you are paying cash or credit card ahead of time. Why flash how much cash for have while you get out your credit card(s)? If somebody was able to dip their hand into your front pocket would you want them to get everything or half ? Also as BikerRn stated If you were to hold somebody at gun point you would want to be holding CCW or LEO Badge in support hand until LEO was pulling up.(of course after calling 911 and telling operator who you are what youare wearing and you are the good guy) As LEO was puling up I would reholster sidearm and be with arms to the side, away from firearm.

When you sit on your wallet your hips are out of alignment. This can cause problems over time with some people. I keep mine in my left front pocket. It's actually not even a wallet, I use a money clip with a pocket for my ID and a couple of other cards.

i have kept my wallet in my front left pocket for many ,many years.
it hurt my back to sit on it is what started it all.
keeps it safe from pick pockets and if you go to bars....well keeps it safer.

after you get used to it, you'll wonder why you didn't always keep it there.
