Once I tightened my belt, it seemed to snug the holster too much and made it very difficult to draw from. May be my body build. I'm pretty much average size with justs a little "extra" around the waist.
The #14 is perfect for all my guns. I've got it for my semi-autos and my revolvers.

I've had a couple of holsters, previously, where this was the case. It definitely varied by where on my hip I had it. For example, it might be fine at 8 o'clock (lefty), but pinch the holster mouth closed if at 9 o'clock at the point of the hip. Same holster with a stout, reinforced mouth might not do that.

I'm sure it heavily depends on body type and positioning (ie, where are your bumps and curves), and partly on the holster's design. Look for any feature that helps with reholstering, such as a reinforced mouth. Fist offers this on many (most) of their holsters as an option.

I just purchased an IWB, OWB, double mag carrier, pocket holster and belt from TT Gunleather. Once I can get pics, I will post them. My first impressions are nothing short of stellar workmanship on Tim's part. I own Sparks, Broomland and several other special makers from this and other sites. I would put his work right up there with the top makers, and since you don't know me, I have VERY high standards. It takes a lot to impress me..and his work does/did. Pics will be up soon.

+1

I have over a dozen holsters by FIST and have never, ever been disappointed.
