I've been waiting 21 months on a Garrity Incognito.

He does good work but I have hardly seen anything received by anyone on here in the past year.

HBE has really turned things around and makes very nice holsters as well.

I have also had a negative experience with Mr. Garrity. After waiting a year for a prepaid holster I asked him to cancel the order and refund my money. He apologized profusely.

After waiting another month the refund had not arrived so I contacted him again. This time he said he thought he had already shipped my holster but wasn't sure, he might have me confused with another customer. I assured him I had not received anything.

Still no refund, so the next time I contacted him I included copies of my canceled check with his signature on the back and repeated my request for a refund, but by this time he no longer answers my emails.

Mr. Garrity might be a talented holster maker but he seems to be a rather poor businessman.

I ordered my Garrity Incognito on the same day that I ordered a VMII from Milt Sparks. I got the Garrity more than a month before the VMII. I prefer it to the VMII, but they are close.

I believe that Eric at HBE specializes in CZ's. I have a COM III on order with him right now and I'm slated to have it in about 3 weeks. For a holster of that quality I see no need to go with the others at a year plus wait unless you like "name brands"

HBE is a high quality "name brand" holster. I totally agree with you on the wait. I'm not knocking Milt Sparks as he makes a great holster, but I'll take a COM III anyday over a VM II as I find it more comfortable. BTW I did own a VM II.

Congrats on that COM III! Let us know how you like it and post some pics.

I like those HBE tuckable IWBs. How do they compare with the other tuckable IWBs out there (VMII, Dakota Defender, MTAC, etc.)?

Haha I hope so. I used a lot of Eric's input, so I'm hoping it comes out great. I decided against the hybrid tuckable/IWB types. Seems like they're good at what they do, but not a great tuckable, or a great IWB. I'm sure I'll end up with a strictly tuckable holster as well.

Basically what I'm getting is the COM III with a high back, ~20 degree cant, snap loops, reinforced mouth in black leather.
