Belt Question

I bought a belt from Crossbreed and while it is a very nice belt and ultra sturdy, I would like to find one that isn't as thick and heavy. You could pull a struck truck out with this thing. Plus, I've lost about 2" off my waistline and now it's too big.

Who makes a nice, casual, sturdy belt that isn't so thick?

Thanks,

Geoff

All the gun belts I have seen are pretty thick. That said, most department store belts will end up with a severe curve in them even when not wearing a gun. I have had good luck with a 1.5" Dickies belt I had for a while. It was kind of a leather work belt, and it seemed to hold up pretty well, and supported my sidearm decently for not being a gun belt. I'd look for a work belt in your case.

Milt Sparks. Double thickness as needed for a good gunbelt, but each is thin.

How thick would you say your crossbreed is? I use 6-7 oz. leather , which puts a belt just a smidgin (small smidgin) under 1/4 inch thin. If you choose a shark skinned belt, they're usually a tad thinner. Other exotics are, too, depending on what you get.

Yeah, I would sell it. It's just too big in the waist for me and I have only worn it a handful of times. It is 37".
