We had a UBG Regulator for ours, got rid of the gun, but the holster was great, I just paid the bill on another Regulator for a different gun.

I liked my Desantis DS Kydex paddle for my M&P Compact, but it is too long.
Made for a full sized 9/40. Another M&P option: High Noon's line of holsters. ![]()

For training purposes I typically use a Comp-Tac Belt holster. This kydex OWB holster is not great for concealment unless using a jacket as your cover garmet. For carry, I would recommend the K&D Laredo Defender.
**NOTE** While I feel you should train with the same gear you use for carry, I just can't bring myself to dirty/scratch a fine piece of art such as the K&D Laredo Defender.

You didn't give specifics like leather, price range, or style of holster (pancake/belt loop).
I have a FIST pancake for my M&P9C and it is a really nice holster for under $70 shipped. If fact I ordered another one today for my son's XD45C... that's how I know what they cost shipped. There are a lot of good leather holster makers i.e. HBE, UBG, Rosen, the list goes on. But you have to wait. I'm really not too familiar with the holsters that are not leather as I've just been fortunate to have good leather holsters for all my guns. |

I use one of mine for my M&P 40c called The Slide.
Here is a link to my site for that holster. Side Guard Holsters - OWB Holsters - The Slide

If you are just looking for something at the range, etc. I have mine in a Serpa. I Conceal Carry with an MTAC.

My Galco leather from my Glock36 fits my M&P's nicely and it is a great holster!
