P99 SW99 holster cross compatibility?
I've got an SW99 compact in .40 that I'm looking for leather for, anyone know if this gun will fit in either a SW99 full size or P99 full size holster?
I'm thinking because of the shape of the front of the slide, it probably won't fit as well in a P99 compact holster. However I expect it should fit just fine in a holster for an SW99 full size (since the only real difference is the grip and slide length). Its the P99 Full size I'm most interested in because there are a lot of holster makers out there that list the P99 but not the SW99. I'm really only interested in molded leather.

Glad you asked. And glad you commented on the slide shape difference.
I too have the SW99 c in .40 and it is hard to find a holster-- or at least it has been hard enough that I have sort of given up looking. I do know there have been some out there, but sometimes you can't tell if they are for the 9mm version and if that will also work for the .40. Looking forward to seeing responses to this thread. |

Same gun, same holster. I have both the Walther and the Smith and they fit each guns holsters. Only difference is the 45acp S&W P99 as it is wider. These also fit Glock 26/27 rigs like a glove so if your having problems finding one try one made for the Glocks.

I looked at your site, looks like about exactly what I'm wanting.
So you would have no problem doing a Double Clip for my little SW99 compact? What is your turnaround time like? Does your price include shipping? I like that you allow the specification of cant.

I just picked up a Bianchi CarryLok for my SW99. It is the model 82 for G26/27 as well as Beretta 9000s and Taurus PT111. I took my gun into the store and crammed it in everything that looked close. Various G26/27 holsters fit, but the retention straps would not fit. So an open top or CarryLok works. Paddles work too.
