Which Quality Holster for the BHP... available in the next 5 weeks or less

I am heading over to Iraq on a contract and need a quality IWB holster for a browning high power.

Who / what do you guys recommend for 16 hour a day carry in a suit?

Possibly a shoulder holster as well.

I know this is a short time frame for good holster makers but maybe someone out there knows someone who can hook me up or has a shorter list?

Thanks and Semper Fidelis

Check out Nate Gable of UBG Holsters, prior USMC, and he's located in UT.

I have an UBG Canute for my HP and I love it, very comfortable.

Lead time is 3-6 weeks if I'm not mistaken.

Agreed.

Let Nate know your situation, perhaps he'll hook you up. Can't go wrong with one of his fine creations!

I'll also add that my first choice would be a UBG Canute an I'll bet that Nate can fix you up on time. If for some reason he can't, my next best suggestion would be a Minotaur MTAC Holster from Comp-Tac. I bought one of these with bodies for my PM-9 and Sig 239 for times when I needed to tuck in my shirt. They are very comfortable to wear for long periods. Delivery on my order was right at 2 weeks and I do believe they have it for the Hi-Power.

Stay safe over there.

I would give Craig & Audrey a call @ Lightning Arms Sports. They have Del Fatti, Alessi and Milt Sparks in stock usually. None of the above are otherwise available in the 5 week range that you are looking at.

Best of luck in the sandbox. My brother just got back from his second tour.

For the shoulder holster, I've always really liked the Galco Miami Classic. I hear a lot of guys say yes, a lot say no, I guess it's a personal thing. But I've worn mine with Glocks and 1911's for 16 hour days and wasn't itching to take it off.

Best of luck, give my regards to the IZ (if that's where you are heading).

D.M. Bullard has the Dual Carry IWB in his store for the BHP. That means you'll have it in a week or so. (see my avatar). Highly recommended.

HBE can have a COM III to you within your time frame. Absolutely fantastic holster all around and it's the most COMfortable IWB holster I've ever worn. Once you strap it on it stays in place due to the extra leather so you will not have to readjust it and won't know it's there. Eric does great work and you WILL be happy with it as it is a quality holster that holds up well. Good luck on your tour and happy shopping!
