S&W's M&P & Glock's - Holster swapability?

I've heard that some of the holsters that fit some Glocks also fit the M&P. Does anyone know which Glock model this holds true for?

Reason I'm asking is specifically for Blackhawk's Level 2 SERPA Light Bearing holster for the Xiphos NT
for the Glock 22, 17 or 13 - if one of them would also fit my .40 full size M&P???

Thanks in advance.

I have not had any succes is swapping between any "plastic" holsters (haven't tried the models you meantioned though). Leather on the other hand has made the swap for me when I switched from my G36 to my M&P 45c as my daily carry.

I have found that any of my M&Ps will work in any of my M&P holsters including 9c, 9L, 45c and 45 FS. Remeber that the .40 and 9 share the same platform.

The trigger guards are different while frame size is simular. Because of the trigger guards, you may get something to fit okay but I doubt the retentsion will be very good.

I would not recommend it because they are different enough that any custom holster won't work well IMHO.

I used and still do G26/27 rigs fro my M&Pc. They are a little tight but the plastic bag trick makes them fit like a glove.

The Serpa made for the Glock @0 &21 works well for the M&P.

It's been a couple of years and I don't remember specifics but I tried a couple of Glock Holsters for my M&P40 FS. The gun fit but the magazine release rubbed on the holster and would release on a random basis. It didn't take long to decide against that approach.
