Wink Need a holster for THIS monster (460XVR)

I went and got this thing simply because I've always wanted a handgun capable of bringing down truly big game or large dangerous predators. Don't plan on shooting it a lot, but want it there IF I ever need it. I'd like a hip or shoulder holster for sporting rather than concealment. Any suggestions on how to keep my pants around my waist. for example? Note that I got the silly little nylon holster with the rest of the gear in the case, but I don't take that very seriously. I do like the Galco offering for this gun, though. Any other suggestions?

I don't have any experience with the holster but it appears Simply Rugged make a couple.

Probably will order one myself for my 460 at some point.

Would be curious to know how it works out if you order one.

I though you were supposed to put wheels on it and pull it around with a HMMWV...

Lot's of good leather available. Off the top of my head I know Tucker, Fist and Galco all fit the X frames.

A holster by Simply Rugged and some good suspenders should work well.

Not FIST. I checked them out & the website mentions J, K, L, N frames but no "X." Oops!

Ky-Tac Premier Kydex Gear is a dead link. In fact I think ALL the aol associated links are dead. Somebody ought to check on that.

Dang!! Thats a lot of pistol for Florida!!! Is it for rogue Grizzlies trying to steal your Salmon?
I agree with the Galco option, they make really good OWB holsters.

Actually as I told my wife with a semi straight face, it's for the rampaging polar bear or Everglades Bigfoot at the mall -- UNLIKELY, but it COULD happen!

More realistically, we like to vacation with our Newfoundland dogs and I'd hate to meet a bigger critter than they with eyes on them as food & a 9mm in my hand! We're seriously considering a move to Idaho (Boise) for our retirement.

My Big Foot scenario is backed up by an unusual reference: US Special Forces.... BFRO Report 6486: Special Forces team follows bipedal trackway, gets screamed at
