Sir, I apologize but sometimes I forget that when advising the best of the best ankle rig, I would immediately advise, Alessi and forget that actually acquiring one is very difficult if not impossible. With that said, just like most members here, the Renegade may be the the better choice. Here's why: 1. Ready available - I can give you the wesite to order and it will be in your mailbox in less than 5 days. 2. Cost - Just like what one member has already stated, it's half the cost compared to the Alessi. 3. Comfortable - It's very comfortable compared to the other ankle holsters I've tried (eg. Kramer, Galco, Uncle Mike). And plus, you never know, the Renagade could possibly fit you better than the rest. You'll never know until you try it. Renagade is my 2nd choice other than Alessi. Try it, you'll like it! ![]() Give me minute and I'll post a picture of the back of the rig Updates: Dang it, I mispelled Renagade! Suppose to be RENEGADE. I'll need to fix it. Here's the address if you decide to go with the Renegade. http://www.gmstactical.com/reanho.html As promised, here's the back view: ![]() /

I'd go with Renegade.
Oh, wait....I've already given my 2 cents. I've Sparks VM2's/Alessi CQC-S's and such for every sidearm I own, but for ankle doody, my nod goes always to the Renegade. It works "that good" and is so comfortable for all day/everyday ankle carry. They should charge twice as much for these things...... ![]() |

Like I said, Alessi is pretty hard to come by... no, I don't know where to get one short of ordering one from Alessi and waiting. I wish I did as I need one too!

GMS Tactical is a retailer. Renegade Holsters doesn't have a website at all. They are based in Phoenix, AZ and supply a lot of the LEO in that area. Here is their contact info. I just called and had mine in about a week. They accept CC's, etc.

FWIW.....The Desantis Apache ankle holster runs a close 2nd. to the Renegade. Used one with a J for 5yrs. prior to purchasing a Renegade.

Had a Bulman and a Desantis Apache. I wear an Ankle Glove because I just find it to be more comfortable.
Each to his own, usually through a lot of trial and error.

I just want to thank you guys and also for me not being crazy, for not being able to find any sellers. I'll go call Renegade tomorrow and see if they can hook me up with a Cozy Partner.......a #50 that is...

They were really good to me, very nice, and asked me about my gun and recommended a couple models that would work and what i would prefer.
