Again, I just wanted to thank everyone for their feedback and help..
Last week I called and talked about getting the Renegade #50, but after talking with them for awhile and explaining what I planned on doing, they suggested the #500 instead. I'll see what exactly is the difference when it arrives and compare it to TwinCarry's pics of the #50. She talked about #500 being leather, but it looks like the #50 is too. So I'll see.
Hopefully it gets here soon. She said she shipped it UPS. So my guess-timate would be tomorrow, I hope.

Have had a DeSantis "Apache" for quite a few years now, and love it. Been carrying a S&W 340PD and don't even know it's there. As with all of the DeSantis stuff, I can highly recommend it. Their shipping for "in stock" items is great too. Don't think I ever waited more than 3 days. My latest purchase delivered in a day and a half!

Well, I just wanted to wrap up this thread and say that I received my #500 Renegade yesterday morning. So I basically have worn it for 2 days now and I'm really loving it.
A friend of mine said to not buy an expensive one, cause I wouldn't like it...WHAT THE HECK WAS HE THINKING!!! I have to say so far so good, I'm loving it!
You feel it initially after you secure it on...but you quickly forget about it being on. I get reminded its there when I'm entering a vehicle and I might hear a "tink" sound or so, as my leg rubs up against the vehicles sill plate. I'm sure after awhile longer wearing it and I will have the muscle memory to be fluid and mindful of my leg that has the Renegade on it.

So, a satisfied customer here...

My little 442 has been riding, almost daily, in a Bianchi Triad for the past 4 months, no problems.

642 is a J frame, I believe. Use a clipdraw and be done with it.

The Alessi is THE Benchmark. Sometimes get lucky finding them on EBay.
