S&W 642, whats a good Ankle Holster??

Wanting some feedback and recommendations for a good and comfortable Ankle Holster? Would be carried under rough work conditions and possibly needs to withstand short burst of running.

I just purchased my 642 yesterday and ready to verify its handling/operation to familiarize myself with it.

Was planning on getting x2 HKS speed-loaders, what would be a good recommendation for a double holder holster.

As I mentioned in another thread, I've had both the Alessi Ankle Holster and the Galco Ankle Glove. Hands down Alessi is the best but pretty hard to get a hold of these days. The Galco is very good and comfortable. The Galco can go over the boot's top (they make an extension) or you can wear it high above the boot.

+1 on Thumper's pick.

Same here, Alessi Ankle Rig. Can't get any better than this.

From what I have read before posting, I had narrowed my findings to either a Alessi Ankle Holster or a Renegade. But I think I have made up my mind to go with Alessi. But I ran into one problem...can anyone tell me where I can get one, thats not "sold out" or "not taking any orders." I've looked at the sponsored sites here, but could not find anyone and same with the web...

The Alessi is nice, but its nearly twice the price of the Renegade Cozy Partner. Also, you'll have the Renegade in a week or less. Its not as "pretty" as the Alessi, but for my money its one of the best ankle holsters out there. Call them up in Phoenix. Great people and you'll have it quick.

Another vote for Renegade. Very comfortable and secure with a 642.
