The Steyr GB Experiment

So no one makes a trainer to use as a mold for the Steyr GB. So one of the guys over on the Steyr club site asks if a airsoft pistol would work???Well I struck a deal with two members and we set out to find out...

Here are some photos of what they asked for. One a settable cant and one a Bikini II...

The verdict is still out if they work or not. We just have to wait on the mail...

Very nice work! As long as the dimensions are close enough to the airsoft it should work since you use a tension screw to tweak the fit. If it doesn't then it wouldn't take much to make it work with a careful application of heat & pressure.

Just got news that the settable cant was a perfect fit!!!!

A lot of the realistic airsoft stuff is modeled pretty closely to the real deal, in fact some of the stuff that would normally fit as accessories on an MP5 or AR15 style rifle fit on some of the airsoft models.
