question for a different holster position

I've got a PPK and im right handed and would like to carry on my left, on the belt line but in a 9/3 oclock position, with butt sort of in groin area. Reason for this is while riding motorcycle, this seems to be the most practical position while in the sitting position.....anyone? Thanks

You might want to consider a shoulder holster.

Cross-draw is convenient for sitting, although the grip prints a little more than strong-side appendix. I recently saw a nice model on HBE site.

OK the best way to ask is a shoulder style holster and clocking that sits at the belt line on my left.

Under shoulder is out as i dont like all the hardware that goes with it.

Are you saying you want a horizontal belt holster set up for cross draw?

Think I've seen one, can't recall where...

I understant the benefits of comfort while seated & riding, truly. After much experimentation I've found what works for me. But I still wonder about "practicality" comments - if you're stopped and can stand, what's the difference. Seems more practical to have an IWB so you don't have to unzip a jacket. If you HAVE to draw WHILE riding, God help you...

I wonder if Andrews Leather's Carjacker Crossdraw would work for your situation. Andrews Custom Leather

When I'm riding I carry in the left inside breast pocket of my leather jacket. My g19 just fits.

Practical meaning, out of sight, comfortable, easy access, along those lines. "Draw while riding, you bet God help me!!" I'm ruling out IWB with prejudice, (as i never used one)because i always wear chaps and dont "think" it would be very comfortable.

Andrews has some VERY nice products, thank you, that narrowed my search down considerably to the Pocket(inside the vest) or Crossdraw.
