Maybe wear an ice pack under it? Sorry, I couldn't resist.

It seems the raven is also much more versatile, it has many more options to mount, both IWB and OWB.

Ok, now I am actually going to answer the question after looking up the Raven Phantom. I would suggest the MTAC simply because I have used the Crossbreed with a leather backing and find that it adds comfort and conforms to your body. The Phantom does not appear to have that quality. I would suggest that you get a holster that is designed from the ground up to be IWB not one that is more 'versatile'. I have never used either of these products, just read good things about the MTAC and use a holster of similar design.

I was on the fence between Crossbreed and MTAC. I went with the MTAC Spartan based on price ($64 w/ "combat grip"), I find that the backs of the screws ride against my boxers, not my skin. I also liked the look of the thinner standard clips. Also ordered the V-clips and received it in 12 days.

I've only been wearing it for a couple of days, still dialing in the adjustments. But it fits good, comfortable, and conceals my USPc .45 very well. I am a big boy, (what my momma used to call "husky" ) and I think that helps with the concealment.

I don't think you could go wrong with CBST or MTAC really they are both so similar. Only one thing is for sure, once you start buying holsters...... I'm up to 5 now.....
