BUMP

I'd like to see more people comment on this. Trying to decide what to buy.

CornstalkCop, no difference in stability between bullhide and horsehide? Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but Beltman's horsehide comes as bullhide on the inside and horsehide on the outside, right?

I have two belts from Beltman both have internal stiffners they make carrying much more comfortable.

I just got a bullhide belt this week and you definitely don't need a stiffener, you can hardly put it on as is, it's so stiff.

i placed an order last month for the 1.5" bull and included a stiffner. people who don't have the stiffner say they like they're belt and ones with the stiffner also say they like it. seems people like what they have regardless of which one.

Their bullhide is very stiff. I did not get the stiffner because it would make it thicker - and might not fit some loops. I think the stiffner would be in order on some of the exotics.

The horsehide is a bit thicker than my bullhide. Don't know if that is always the case, and don't know if that makes the horse more "stable". But yes, the horse belts are: Horse outside, and then bull inside.
