Favorite Snubby IWB Holster?
I have a pocket holster that works just fine, but when I'm looking for IWB carry with my snubby, what holster should I use? I'm looking for something that is fairly easy to get on and off. All recommendations are welcome. Pictures are even better. Thanks!

I have an Andrews MacDaniel II for my 642.
The Straps in the back and takes seconds on and off. I love this holster and gun combo.JMO Andrews Custom Leather

I have one of these for my CA .44spl
insideout1.jpg It's made by Simply Rugged, my model is the "Silver Dollar" with 3 belt slots, and removable IWB belt loops. It's great to be able to use it both as OWB and IWB. Took about 4 weeks exactly and the price is almost unbeatable for custom made leather holster. There made by a guy in Wasilla, AK. Here's the link Leather Gun Holster, Concealed carry holster, Simply Rugged!", Proudly made in Alaska. Be sure to read down about the "Inside-Out Straps". I love mine, I'll post a picture of the actual one I have in a little bit. |

Galco Stow N Go. Simple and inexpensive, yet is comfortable and reliable.

Side Guard Holsters - IWB Holsters - Tuck Clip Got mine just after the first of the year. Love it ! I wear at 3:30 to 4:00 and the 642 disappears on me with a t shirt. Can't beat the price AND the quality is outstanding. Easy on/easy off. Nothing more can be said......except the manufacturer is a member of this forum and communicates with his customers during the order & wait times (6 weeks around xmas). Excellent to work with. What else is needed ?

Take a look at Fist. I think they make most of their holsters for the snubby. Here is one. Their delivery times are relatively short, and prices right for the quality.

I'll second cdwolf's choice of Andrew's Leather and the McDaniel II. The belt loop is off the gun making for as thin a "package" as one can have with a revolver. Single loop is plenty to stabilize a J-frame. Works fine with my 638.

Question for TwinCarry
[QUOTE=TwinCarry;1030854]+1 for cdwolf and Pizza Bob's choice - Andrews MacDaniel II
May not be my one FAVORITE iwb for my snubby, but it sure is up there! TwinCarry, The Andrews leather looks great. This is another good "find" , thanks to you and the others for sharing Andrews. So if the Andrews McDaniel ll is one of your favorites but maybe not your favorite... I think it begs the question ... What is your favorite IWB for your snubby? I was sold on the Andrews until I saw that maybe you are holding back...haha. . |

It's a dead heat for me between a K&D Thunderbird and the Andrews, Have both, very happy with both.
