"High and Tight" OWB question
I recently purchased an HK P30. I was pleasantly surprised to find that both my Steyr Little Bear IWB and my Andrews Cross Draw 229R fit it perfectly. Now, I am looking for a minimal exposure OWB holster that is high and tight. I have a Milt Sparks Mirage that is an "under the belt" for my Bersa that works perfectly. I also have been eye balling The Wilderness Zip Slide. I would like minimal leather. The Kydex is uncomfortable and bulky. Suggestions?

When the term "High & Tight" is mentioned to discribe holster ride, the Milt Sparks model #60TK (previously known as The Roadrunner) instantly comes to mind. Not sure it's made for the HK, but a call to MS would answer your question.
FYI, The Roadrunner was the first holster I purchased for my CCW (full size1911) back around 1983-84, if I recall correctly. It was the most comfortable, most concealable, highest riding-tightest to the body fitting holster I've ever owned/worn with a full size 1911. PERIOD.! Here's a photo I snatched from another forum showing the original Roadrunner design. Note how high the Gun rides as the belt runs through the slots well below the trigger guard. -Jimmy ![]()
