First Impression of SuperTuck.

Awesome! Haven't figured out the best position but just sliding it on for the first time I didn't know a holster can actually be comfortable. I was carrying a Firestorm 380 in a Split Decision from High Noon Holster but this Supertuck for my 5inch 1911 is great. My 1911 is almost twice the size as the Firestorm but feels so much better.

Took about 6 days from ordering it to arrive at my door.

I'm curious about the clips on your Supertuck.. are they custom and/or metal?

I just got one myself, and those are the clips that came with it. Crossbreed is an openly Christian company. Also, they are metal clips.

Got mine a week or so ago, the clips are standard now and are metal. Top notch product.

Nice setup! I ordered one for my PT24/7 Pro DS.
I am carrying my PT1911 in a Pure Kustom Holsters "Black Ops" combination IWB and Belt Slide.

Given where the belt will sit on that thing, it looks like there will be a whole lot of gun below the belt. My XD40 rides much higher than that. I wonder if it shouldn't have been changed a little to get the 1911 in a higher ride position. I haven't used one with a 1911 yet, but when I first saw your pic, I thought, "Wow, that is a lot of slide below the Kydex."

Could be my imagination, as it is late, but that was my first impression.

I would NOT want those clips on my Supertuck.

I have no objection to the symbol, but I don't want anything that draws attention to the clips, which are the only things that show when the shirt is tucked. I can just imagine the cross symbol catching someone's eye and inviting notice and/or questions.

I have two Supertucks and if the clips aren't available in plain metal or the old plain plastic they will be my last.

alienbobey,

By just looking at it without the belt, I thought the same thing. But, with the belt on and a shirt tucked in, it is less eye catching than the old kydex clips (they cracked and CB sent me the new metal clips). The cross pattern is small and almost unnoticeable on my brown belt. I like them better than the kydex clips due to their greater concealment qualities.

Excellent holster. It gets even more comfortable the more you wear it.

I have a question for the SuperTuck users. Does the barrel stick out of the Kydex for every gun?

I wouldnt want the barrel of the P11 to stick out.

The "openly Christian" thing is another plus for me.
