Alessi RIP

A rare holster artist and will always cherish the two holsters Lou made for my HK's last December. Although we never physically met, our private emails as two old guys communicating for the last 8 months reinforced my belief in humanity. A true loss to the gun community and the world.

He was the true definition of a craftsman as I have read and heard and witnessed his artforms. He will be sorely missed.

I have only two Alessi-crafted items, but both are pieces of art. By all accounts, he was as good a person as he was a craftsman, and he will be missed.

Same here. My Alessi Bodyguard is the only shoulder holster I would consider using. And in a crowded field, the CQC is the best pancake holster made, IMO.

Lou Alessi will be missed. I have only dealt with him via email but he has always been kind and helpful. His leather work is simply amazing.

He was the world's greatest holstermaker, and the nicest guy I knew. Words can't explain how kind he was. His CQC-S holster alone is probably the most copied design extant, to say nothing of the Bodyguard or his PCH. I know he is sitting at the right hand of Our Lord...Tom
