Tuck This II

Has anyone seen/used one of these? I can't seem to find a review of this updated model. With one belt clip I can't imagine it does very well with a full size auto, maybe OK with a compact. For 30.00$ I need some good reviews before I think about it.

Nevermind

Nevermind, found it myself w/ a google search.

I don't personally like nylon holsters that much, especially IWB. I prefer either leather or kydex for their retention capability. I'd be concerned about the holster staying open to be able to reholster and I'd think that you'd have to rely on your belt providing all retention of the firearm. IMHO I think your $30 would be better spent somewhere else, but that's just me.

I bought one for my PPS, but don't particularly care for it. It's nice and compact, but re-holstering is difficult as it collapses once the gun comes out, and while it conceals well as it rides low, it can also be tough to get your hand on the grip of the gun. For the PPS the magazine carrier is pretty useless as the mag doesn't sit firmly and my mag falls out if with simple walking.

My wife likes it, but then again she doesn't carry every day.

The magazine is on the wrong side of your body. What are you going to do, switch your gun into your left hand and draw the mag, then switch back?

I don't disagree that it's a far from ideal location for your spare. My comment was simply that it has a pouch for a mag, but in my personal experience my mag's won't even stay in it anyway. Since I like to carry at ~4:30, its to far back for me to comfortably cross draw even if I liked that idea to being with. My suggestion is to spend the $$ for a good holster if your finances allow (I'm happy with my Supertucks!)

Spend the $30 elsewhere.
