Disguising those "clips".........
So, do any of you have a special way of disguising those "clips" on IWB holsters? I think I've decided on a FIST K8 holster, mainly because I'm wanting a tuckable IWB holster without a huge clip on my waistband. (They have some smaller strap options.)
I understand velcro could be used, but I'm just curious if any of you have some other forms of concealing your concealment holster attachment, especially if you're using a tuckable holster.

I don't use a tuckable, but for the short time I tried it out, I never got asked "what's that loop thingie". Most people have manners and will not ask you about things on or about your person unless they personally know you.

I think leather loops look more inconspicuous than kydex or metal clips. C clips look decently hidden though, especially if you have a black belt. I really wouldn't worry about it though. As long as you're not printing, I don't think clips really scream gun.

I was thinking about this the other day.
I thought about drilling a hole in the bottom of each clip and attaching a wallet chain to the back one and hanging my keys from the front one. I haven't tried it yet since very few people have asked what the clips were for. The last time someone asked about them I said "the tool belt I use at work clips onto those" and they seemed satified with my answer. I really have no idea if they make tool belts that "clip" onto something like that, but it doesn't matter if it sounds like you know what you're talking about.

somehow, I've yet to be asked about them. I have black clips and usually wear brown belts so I'm surprised that in almost a years time, I've yet to have one person ask. Of course, now that I'm running my mouth about it, someone will notice and ask me before the week is thru.

I like Milt Sparks kydex clip approach. It works well with my VM II. The clips attach to the waistband, not belt. All my other IWB holsters are velcro equipped.

I never really givin it much thought....since the gun is concealed...I care not 'bout the clips. Peeps can ask and wonder all they want....won't get a strait answer from me...or answer at all.

Big fan of velcro here! Get a velcro lined gun belt and then you'll always have the option of using velcro clips or standard ones. You can't beat the concealment that velcro clips give you!
