Anybody seen one that clips on, rather than having to be threaded on?

I had Derry Gallagher make me one (5 years ago)that rides parallel on the belt. It is a thread on but that dont seem to be a problem. I wear it just to the left of center (right handed). It has a hole to stick your finger in to get the mag started out of the holster.

I seem to recall a couple other makers that made this type.

Update-I checked furthjer and it seems that the gentleman has some health issues and probably has a big backlog of orders. Just google the name and check. Sorry to hear as it is a nice product.

Horizontal mag pouch

I wish someone made a horizontal mag pouch that enclosed the magazine like a folding knife pouch. And of course it would look like a knife pouch rather than a mag pouch. I bought a horizontal knife pouch at Sportsman's Warehouse, and it will hold a 1911 mag nicely, but unfortunatley it won't fit on my thick 1.5" belt. I would have to go to a 1.25" belt to use it.
