Does anyone wear a shoulder holster?

Do any of you were a shoulder holster under clothing like a dress shirt or other button down shirts? Seems like it would work. If you do please post some pics and let us know what holster i.e. make models

A shoulder rig is really not made to go under a dress shirt or typical button-downs. Too bulky. There are a couple of under shirt options, but I blank on the names. Look for Threads started by "Fed_wif_a_Sig". Other members will add options too.

My wife uses a Sam Andrews "Monarch" with light weight over-blouses a lot tho.

Belly-bands are an option too. Smart Carry also?

Look for Fed_wif_a_Sig's post (one of several) here. He knows exactly what he talks about. The real deal.

undershirt holster

Here's another:

BTW, welcome.

Chest bands work the best for what you have described.

Belly band sounds like what you want, holds the gun close and can be worn in many positions around the body.

Trauma Plates?

I was just reading an old thread about options for this thread, and ran across this jewell from maclean3:

Why don't you talk to the Smartcarry folks and convince them to add a trauma plate?

Ken Null's SMZ rig. If it had an X-harness, it would be perfect. As it is, it works great under a shirt with a significant collar. By significant, I mean stiff, as you see in dress shirts. Polo shirts don't work too well because the strap shows across the back of the neck.

Not me in the videos, FWIW:
YouTube - Ken Null SMZ with Seecamp LWS32
YouTube - Ken Null SMZ with Seecamp LWS32 (under Coat)
K.L. Null Holster Ltd. - Holsters

My own images, edited to remove evidence of riotous living.
There is a slight bump evident right on the seam twixt torso and sleeve, just about dead center. Not very noticeable, though - in person or on camera.
W/holster:

No gun in holster in this one:

Winter time , I use a Galco VHS and is worn under outer jacket. Holds my HK Compact 45. For summer wear, I have a new pistol. An officer size 1911 with a spring clip mounted under the right side grip panel. Goes inside my pants just behind my hip bone. Shirt tail is worn out and over the gun butt. Works pretty good so far.

With the outer shirt buttoned up and tucked in, no a typical shoulder won't hide well. But left unbuttoned, works very well.

Seldom wear one anymore.
I do have a Fist vertical, and would only wear it on my Harley. Now I have grown so accustomed to SOB (palm out, over the kidney), that I seldom ever wear the shoulder holster.
