Try the Kingston Car Seat Holster.

Another great option is the Wilderness Safe Packer

If loose gun laws are good for criminals, why do criminals support gun control?

Myself, it stays in it's holster on me for normal driving around. On longer trips or if I'm going somewhere and I know I'll have to disarm my sidearm goes in a spare holster and wedged between the seats, center consol, glovebox, etc.

I used to have an older holster I 'straped' to the bottom-front seat in my truck but I haven't 'manufactered' another one for my 'new truck' or the wife's car.....yet.

Not my review but some decent pics so you can get the gist.

In more "urban" areas where I feel the possibility of carjacking is increased due to stop and go traffic...I go to my Galco CCP Paddle holster crossdraw butt forward makes a great driving holster. Inifinitely adjustable. Easy on and off.

This topic is near and dear to me too. I wear a tuckable IWB and am in and out of the car often all day long. There is no way I could draw quickly and it isn't practicle to unholster/reholster and tuck repeatedly all day. I'm thinking my best option my be to have a second gun in the vehicle.

+1. Keeps it simple, standard and secure. After getting rear ended a few years back and my S&W 66 flying out of the glove box and ending up in the back of the car I will never leave a weapon unsecured again.
