A good holster for XDm .40
Im looking for a good holster for my gun, to cc, i like it in the small of my back. as im a little guy i feel i conceal better this way. I was also thinking of this "fanny" pack looking holster that fit in front under your pants, the name slipped my mind ... id like one that fit in the waist... any suggestions, i really cant find anything and i dont even know where to start to look, ebay dont have a great selection. Also is the factory plastic holster going to scratch or mark my gun.. i mean i dont want any marks that dont need to be there on it, and it seems to be marking it, but i dont know if a little oil will restore the finish

I carry SOB almost always now. It's not exactly on the spine, rather over the kidney at about 5:30.
Go to the above 'Related Links'...search out Fist holsters...see holsters by the number...find SOB #41. It's a single clip holster that is easy to put on and is one-handed removal. You can also draw and reholster with one hand...easy. ![]() It's a palm out draw which is, IMHO, safer then palm in from SOB. It is very comfortable and I have four other friends who swear by that same carry. Some don't like to carry over the spine, I don't either. Some feel that you sweep the body on a draw with that position, thus the palm out draw eliminates that problem. With practice, one can draw almost as fast at from 3:00...and with a button down shirt, I can have my hand on my weapon for the draw with no one seeing what I am preparing to do. Stay armed...carry in a way that works for YOU...stay safe!

Here's the UBG I got for my XDm... I think it's pretty darn good too! IWB at 3:30 - 4:00 is easy to conceal, even under a t-shirt. Something to consider.

That Com III is a first rate holster..as is the UBG Canute. You will be well served by either. I own a HBE but would not hesitate to buy a UBG.
