noise from leather holster
i have 2 leather holsters (don hume iwb and galco cop 3) and both make that leather rubbing / popping noise.
what is a good way to get rid of the noise without wearing it a year? |

Wear them a lot. It goes away as the leather breaks in and molds to your body. I wear my new ones at home to break them in. Just make sure you have your gun in them too. Keeping your pistol in them when you take it off at night helps. Do not use neatsfoot oil or creams on them. It softens the leater too much.

i got the problem fixed.
took my belt (leather) and got on it with some high grit sandpaper and baby powder. holster is dead quiet now. |
