How to properly wear a shoulder holster?

I have an Allesi Bodyguard shoulder holster. What is the proper way to wear/adjust this type of holster? All the movies and shows showing the guys running with the holsters flopping all around can't be correct.

I currently have it adjusted such that the gun holster is snugged up under my arm so it stays put and is still comfortable.

That's right where you want it. I have the same holster, that's where I put it. It's a great design.

Close up under the the support side armpit - usually with the muzzle canted slightly upward with a horizontal style rig.

The exact distance under the armpit will be for you to decide.

Once you wear it for a while and figure out exactly where it feels and carries best, cut the extra doggone strap leather off.

Funny...TV "boob tube cops" started wearing them way down low because Galco/Jackass always shipped their shoulder rigs with lots of extra strap leather for user adjustment.

I guess they thought that since Galco ships their shoulder rigs out with the holster & mag pouches positioned toward the end of the harness straps that was where they were supposed to stay forever & somehow it "stuck" totally asinine.

It's a Glock sub compact. It was the first thing I noticed!

Wow, thats a NICE holster

I really hate to cut the extra length off my Alessi. What if I get fat? The Alessi holsters are one of a kind now.
