CrossBreed SnapSlide

Did a search but didn't find much. Anyone using the SnapSlide for carrying OWB?

Not 'Snapside', but other makers of that style...I'm not a fan of an unprotected front sight and barrel. OMO
I prefer holster cover for the entire barrel of the gun.

Me too.
I wish the site had some better photos of the Super-Tuck. It appears to have a larger footprint, but I cannot tell much about how it is constructed. I assume it is all leather with steel clips.
I suspect that the comfort is largely a result of the wide footprint.

Would someone describe the construction and/or post some pictures on how it is constructed? I want to know more about it since it is so popular, and to be able to describe it to a class of CHL students.
Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Jerry

JUst started wearing mine today for a full size 1911. I can tell you this it is more comfortable than my other IWB from a different maker for my Taurus snubby. I can say I am going to like this holster. It also has 4 different holes for positioning each clip, this gives you allot of adjustment to find that sweet spot for carry.

Constructed of a leather back piece and a half kydex shell for the holster. Very nice construction , very comfortable, very quick turnaround, and great customer service. I'd recommend one, I'm already thinking about one for my Glock 26 and I'm already pltting to get his new micro-clip for the LCP.

I have been wearing the SnapSlide for my commander sized 1911. I have only worn the holster around the house because when I go out, I usually tuck my shirt in and am wearing the SuperTuck. I find the SnapSlide to be comfortable, but I wish it held the pistol tighter to my side. I have to keep my gun belt ( and it is a good one from the Beltman) good and tight. Even then, however, the pistol rides further from my side than I prefer. The holster is well made.
