M&P or G19 Kydex holsters for S&W Sigma

The other day I had to make a quick run to pick up my g/f and, on a lark, I decided to grab my 40VE Sigma instead of my smaller usual carry piece. Thing is, I don't have a holster for my Sigma, I just tucked it in my belt and off I went since I didn't figure I'd be getting out the car.

To make a long story short, it felt pretty good and wasn't noticeable at all with the outfit I had on that day... so I decided it was time to get a good IWB holster for it. Problem is, there aren't many quality holsters offered for the Sigmas, but I keep reading from people who have successfully used M&P or G19 holsters, just not the ones I'm interested in.

I am specifically looking at the Comp-Tac Spartan or the Crossbreed Super-Tuck as the both get great reviews and the combination of leather and kydex seems to be right what I'm looking for- the rigidity, retention and ease of reholstering of kydex with the comfort of leather.

So, has anyone had any success with their Sigmas in holsters not specifically made for them?

Cant speak for CC holsters, but ive had a Sigma in the past SW9VE and its practically a Glock 17 clone. Based on that a G17 holster should hold the Sigma fine.

How do you find the trigger on the SW40VE ? The 9 has a like a 10 pound DAO pull, safe, but bloody heavy.

it sucks. but a polish and sear spring 'mod' can work wonders... but it will never be a target gun. to be honest, if and when i start carrying it i will revert back to the original spring configuration. at the end of the day the trigger might suck but a practiced shooter will have no problem defending their life at combat distances with the original factory trigger. 1k rounds through it and a polish make it looong but smoooth
