Holster for Kel-Tec P11

Hey all,

I just got back from the police station and successfully added my brand new Kel-Tec P11 9mm to my CCW permit. It should be a lot easier than luggin around my ol' Sig P-226. I intend to pocket carry the weapon and want some advice on what kind of pocket holster to go with. I'm torn between the DeSantis Superfly (Commerce Storefront B2C) and a Convertible Pocket/Wallet Holster from Guru (Kel-Tec Pocket/Wallet Holster). Which would you guys pick? Does anybody know of a holster $60 or less that doesn't have a waiting list to get on to buy one. Thanks guys!

Hmmmm . . . .those look way nice. There's something simple but beautiful about those. Do you know if there is a long wait to get one?

Hmm. . . Those won't work. I checked, there's a 6-8 wk waiting period. I need a holster by next week. I don't feel comfortable carrying the weapon holster less. Too bad.

Gettting a 'boned' holster is going to be tough in just a week.
I have never waited more than 3-5 weeks with Fist.
The 'thumb push' is worth the wait.

retsupt99, We'll always agree on this one. Nothing compares to the Fist #5 for a pocket holster. Once you own one you'll never want anything else. Bought one in leather last fall for my P3AT and waited exactly 30 days for mine.

I'm happy with my Desantis Super Fly, the NO print panel works well to prevent an outline of your gun coming through the pocket and your P11 is on the larger side for pocket carry. I had mine in short order direct from Desantis. If you are in a hurry I'd check them out. I do the thumb push to draw the gun and the material used on the exterior of the holster keeps the holster in the pocket, it does not ride out with the gun. The print panel is removable and reverseable, so you can slip your gun in either pocket.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I had my sights fixed on the FIST #5, but I can't deal with the long waiting period LoL. I'm going with the High Noon Pocket Grabber Pocket Grabber: High Noon Holsters. It's leather, has rubber on the outside to keep the holster in the pocket, and it seems like it fits my bill exactly. Also, High Noon is on DC and has them in stock. I'm ordering first thing tomorrow morning! Thanks for all your help fella's!

I am not a Don Hume fan, but I am pleased with his #001 for my KT P3AT.
Whatever I got I would be sure it has a wing to catch on the pocket to prevent it coming out with the gun.

Regards,
Jerry
