Ah, OK, FIST #12. That is not a Galco copy, in that Galco did not originate that way of making holsters. That is a pancake holster. Roy Baker made them popular.

The Galco Concealable is a truly excellent pancake, perhaps the best off-the-rack pancake on the market.

Wait . . . . the XD45 Compact has a 5" slide length, well, at least the one we have at my shop does anyway. How can it be the same as the Service 4"?

Maybe I need to look again. I didn't know they made the Service model in a compact.

Compact just means it has a shorter grip, the slides and frames are interchangeable.

The four varieties of XD45's are:

XD45 Service
XD45 Tactical
XD45c Service
XD45c Tactical

When looking at holsters, the slide is the consideration. Hopefully that helps.

The reason you see mostly 5" compacts right now is that the demand for them is low.

Glad I could help. I'm saving for a pair of those right now.

He updates his website pretty frequently. Once he starts on the week you ordered your holster in, you are about a week and a half out.

He's got it on his main page, scroll down to the right. Looks like he's working on a 16 or 17 week backlog based on Jan1-7 orders being made now.

Don Hume or Galco both make good OWB holsters.
