OWB Carry this weekend
I carried my XD9sc in my new Blade-Tech holster this weekend and I really liked it. I usually carry IWB with a Crossbreed but this weekend I carried with a shirt untucked and OWB and it was very comfortable.

I carry OWB everyday. IWB is good but for me OWB is better.
More comfotable and it hides just as easy as IWB.

Exactly what he said. But to each his own.

I'll have to try it. But I am already self conscious with the supertuck. Especially when bendig down.

I either pocket carry my 642 snub nose revolver if I need to tuck my shirt, or my Kimber Ultra Carry OWB with a loose fitting T shirt. No problem concealing. I have never been able to comfortably carry IWB, and I have tried most of the popular IWB holsters.

I had a t-shirt with a short sleeve button down over it un-tucked yesterday. We went to the mall, had lunch, grocery store etc. no problem and very comfortable. These were old "normal" sized pants so IWB was out of the question but I liked it a lot.

I switch constantly from OWB to IWB and back. Both sit in the same spot and both have retention straps, so for me its just a difference in clothing then

I have carried OWB for over 20 years - too much hassle with sizing pants to do it otherwise. Even here, in Central Florida, OWB, with a solid belt, it is easy to conceal a smaller 9mm. Years ago, (over 24) in the Republic of Ilinois, I carried IWB, S&W 649.

I only have a couple of OWB holsters and use them very little. I have become so accustomed to IWB and my sidearm just disappears into the 'padding'.
![]() This summer, when visiting in MI, I'm going to give OWB a serious try. ![]()
