Cool God Bless America!

We are so blessed to live in a country so rich in choices. I need a new gun belt, and a IWB holster for my P220. I just looked at the Holster link page, 160 choices, and know not where to start! So I ask my fellow members for their suggestions. I am 5' 10" 255 with a 44" waist. RH carry. I like a wider belt. So who has really great values on a gun belt, and IWB holsters. I would prefer to purchase from a member/sponsor of DC.COM. My local toy store (Cedar Valley Outfitters) is unable to carry a wide range of belts and holsters. Great variety of weapons and ammo though. I also carry a P226 as my bug. So I'll need a holster for it. Sometimes I wear a 5.11 vest, but that just tells the cops I'm carrying and the BG's 'Shoot me first!"

Holsters by Side Guard (Forum Sponsor). Thats who I get my holsters from and I dig them.

You're gonna get alot of responses for Beltman belts...

For my money there is no finer IWB holster than a Sparks VM2. Worth the wait and worth every penny. I have three now and one on order. One of those is for a full size P220R (which also fits my P226ST) and it is "all-day comfortable". We're similar in size so results should be appx the same.

If you want a traditional IWB (i.e. belt loops on the gun) with less wait and a lot less money, try here...

Only make one style OWB and one IWB for a limited number of guns - but if your P220 is non-railed he makes one for it. I got an OWB for a 1911 pattern commander style gun and was really impressed by the workmanship.

Ditto on the former comment about the Beltman. Great product, great price.

HTH

Adios,

+1 on the Side Guard holsters, I carry in an OWB slide daily. Although there are many awesome holster makers associated with this website. Look around here, you'll find something that works.

I have a similar build to you and highly recommend a Nossar Valovac. I have tried many of the high end holster and while there are a number that I like and that I have kept, none of them compete with Alex Nossar's valovac. While you're at it grab on of his belts and double mag carriers. You'll thank me later!
Here are links to a few of mine. (I'm not re-posting the pictures bec. they have been posted here before.)
