Desbiens Badger reload Holster

As others here before me have discovered, the Desbiens Badger Reload Holster is an excellent way to carry your BUG for "off hand" access. Mine arrived today.

I am very pleased with the well thought out design and the excellent workmanship of this holster and wanted to publicly thank Rhome and highly recommend his holsters.

You can see his excellent offerings here: Desbiens Gunleather

That is one heck of a neat setup.

Hi Thumper,
It looks good, but does the gun clear the magazine when you draw, or does it require a slightly different drawing motion to clear it?

What is the function of the snap?

Regards,
Jerry

It clears just fine. Remember, it's curved around your waist/hip... mine sits with the magazine pouch at 0900 and the revolver at about 0800. It's available for a variety of weapons and also wrong... I mean, left handed!

The strap secures the holster tighter to your belt in the middle. Either a magazine pouch or a holster by itself would have a slot where the strap is. (See picture above)

Now to get some "left handed" practice in.

I have a different Desbien holster shipping to me tomorrow for my snubbie. Turnaround was faster than promised, and the quality online and in the posts above looks great. Looking forward to getting it on my belt!

Nice setup. Desbien Gunleather holsters are one of my favorites. I can't believe his wait time is only 1-2 weeks.

Thanks Thumper, I'm sorry I haven't been around for awhile, seems making holsters is more important than sleep lately. Enjoy the holster.

Best,

Not that I want to see you lose sleep, but I'm excited to get my holster! Since my wife gave me back my Detective Special she had absconded, I had an excuse for a nice new holster!
