Adjusting IWB while driving...

I have a Glock 36 and I conceal it in a MTAC IWb holster at 5:30. However when I get into my car, it feels a little uncomfortable. Maybe it is something I should get used to?

Do any of you adjust the holster before driving? I know it may sound absurd since the entire point is to conceal carry.

I just got my CPL today and will make my WWW tomorrow evening.

:-)

Every holster takes a little getting used to. It's good to shift it around a bit until you get it just right.

Try carrying at 3:30 instead of 5:30. It is better to find a spot and leave it than always fooling with your carry rig.

For me, 3:30 to 4 works just perfectly. I sit at work and driving is not a problem for me.

I carry a Sig P220R IWB at 4:30 in a CB Supertuck. 4:30 is very comfortable (for me) even with this large framed gun. I would suggest trying a few different positions and find out which works best for you.

Grats on the permit! I'm going to have to follow the crowd and say around 4 is your best bet.

I really dislike IWB holsters. Mine stays in a drawer. I'd rather wear mine OWB and conceal with a larger shirt or jacket.

What IWB holsters have you tried? I really like IWB and find it much easier to conceal than OWB without changing my normal wardrobe.

As others have suggested, you might find that something around the 4 o'clock position should alleviate your discomfort while still providing access to it.

I carry my XD9SC in that fashion and don't have to adjust it while getting into or driving the car.
