Erik makes the best holsters on the planet in my humble opinion. He uses the very best saddle leather he gets from Kentucky. Not only do they say quality they work well and wear forever. Unlike some companies if he tells you he'll have a holster to you on such and such a date he will! He's had several writeups in the gun magazines like American Handgunner. Yea he makes several types and for about any gun out there. he's one of the few who makes a beautiful rig for the P6. I'm a real fan I can tell you that!!!! He made the belt also.
That and his prices are lower than some of the other big names and the waiting time is short.He'll also do custom touches if somebody wants a feature of a particular holster changed. Like a sweat flap for this holster.

He goes by Rafter "L" but I didn't mention that because I didn't want anyone to confuse him with the other Rafter one. I did a review of my first rig for my HP. It's on my blog at

Very very very nice! Just from the pics...which dont tell everything but quite a bit....his stuff is every bit as good as Ive ever seen.

From another maker....that's a pretty serious statement.

His work does look very good, although that style holster is not one I care for.
It is true that pictures do not necessarily show the quality of a holster. Only holding the holster can prove the workmanship, hardness of the molding, and overall skill.

Some look good in photographs but the leather is soft, and the holster is not tight. This is not meant to denigrate the maker, but just some observations. The rig does look impressive.
It would be nice if I could find the prices.

The quality and construction appears to be very good.
I didn't see any OWB holster style with a forward cant so that leaves me out.
Great looking work though.
