Yeah, it's supposed to be mottled ... kind of burgandy colored. No idea about the macs though I've been gawking at them on and off over the last couple of years :)

Nate does great work, I have a Canute and it has great retention for an open top holster.

Ditto for Nate's holsters. I too, have a Canute and I am very pleased with the craftsmanship. It has held up extremely well to near daily wear, and the humid St. Louis summers.

I guess it's the way the leather took the dye, but I like that look!
Further, for OWB carry, that does show a nice high ride. I got a Regulator from Nate, and carry my SIG P229 in it even during summer, covering with an untucked camp shirt. It looks like the Bonneville's higher ride makes life even easier when it comes to concealment. Enjoy--that's a fine holster!

Thanks lance22,
I like the color also. The holster rides very high, and I wonder if you have tried it under an untucked shirt. Doesn't the high ride make it difficult to get the shirt up that high and draw the gun? Even though you might not wear an untucked shirt normally, would you try one to see how difficult it is to draw with that cover garment? And then post for me. ![]() Thanks, Jerry |

That is one good looking holster. I don't have an OWB holster, but I may shop for one now...
