I looked at the reviews and noticed the ones that apparently didn't know it's a gun belt and needs to be thick.

Would it be possible for me to replace the snaps with Chicago screws myself? Sounds like a simple fix.

Yes, noticed the snaps issue when some said the buckle was poor, but could be replaced with another since the belts used snaps. Wear was also an issue, evidently....

I;ve been wearing mine for a while and the snaps seem to be holding up fine. I have not tried to unsnap them and have no reason too.

I have some Chicago screw and will replace if they break. All in all I'm pleased with how it supports my XD. For the money even if I eventually have to replace the snaps with chicago screw you cant go wrong.

Yes. After all, it's only $25 for a thick heavy belt.

Just ordered. I'll replace with the screws if I have to.

Now, to get another holster.

Hey Bill! What part of S. Texas do you live in?

I had to replace the snaps with Chicago screws after they broke! I had to dig out the rivet between the 2 pieces of leather (not too hard) and replaced them with some extra Chicago screws I had from some broken clips from my Crossbreed SuperTuck (I have since gotten the metal clips). The Chicago screws work great! No sense in throwing away a perfectly good belt over some broken snaps. I use this belt daily and it holds up well.
