Happened to be driving past the Reno Cabela's today. I checked out the belt and it is plenty stout. The buckle is nothing to write home about. Since I was there, I took it to the counter to see if I could get the online price...Short answer was no, but the cashier scanned a $10 off coupon so it was only $29, no waiting.

Just ordered the 5.11 pants w/belt. Shipping is $8.99. Will give a review when received if anyone is interested.

That's a nice pair of pants but they get to choose at random which style of free belt they ship.

FWIW, when I ordered two pairs about two moths ago, I received them with two beautiful black dress-looking belts.

How are the belts? Stout enough? Dressy enough?

I might try them. I need another pair of pants anyway and it can't hurt to have an extra belt to hold them up.

Fisherman,

As you can see on the website I mentioned above, they have different designs, but the ones I got were black with smooth finish. They look great as eithe business casual or dressed-up.

They are very strong with the kidex insert and are gun belts.

Hope this helps --

Yeah, I've looked at the 5.11 belts before. Very good price for pants and a good belt. In fact that's what I was going to get before I saw this $25 deal. I'm happy I ordered it though. I'll pick the dressiest one for dressup and save the other one for casual wear.

I have one. One of the snaps failed very quickly but I pot a pop rivet in and it's still going
It's 11/2 years old showing some ware but good support. It's not a Beltman but for the price it good. Maybe I will order another?
I have a black and the ware is only color.

Now wear can I order a few of those Chicago Screws to have "just in case", with out paying more than a couple bucks shipping?
