As stated above, always chamber a round in any Semi Auto.

I pocket carry a PM9 and a P3AT. Always chambered, always in a pocket holster (which protects the trigger guard from intrusion).

Be careful to keep your finger off the trigger (as you always should) unless firing. Double that caution when reholstering (caution also that no clothing, ie: shirt, etc. gets caught on the trigger). Probably best to simply remove holster from pocket, insert gun then put the whole package into the pocket.

Ditto everyone else....I carry my lcp chambered, front right pocket, trigger covered in a blackhawk pocket holster.......

That is excatly what the bad guy is hoping for! Sorry, couldn't resist contradicting everyone else.





Of course you should have one in the chamber, just be smart (good holster) about carrying it-no more pocket pool in that pocket!
