Galco Lite Shoulder system for PPK/S
Looking for a comfortable shoulder holster for my Walther PPK/S. I noticed that the Executive ($199) and the Miami Classic ($180) both come higly recommended. I couldn't find as much on the Galco Classic Lite ($84). Anyone have some experience carrying this rig for EDC?

The rig is similar enough but the difference in in the holster. The Galco Lite has a soft holster, as opposed to the fitted holsters used on the Miami Classic or Executive.
The one other difference is that the Lite has a thumb release strap, (as does the Miami), whereas the Executive does not...making for a slightly quicker draw from the Executive. There's no reason the Lite won't perform fine for you, especially with a small, light pistol. Reholstering may be the only real difference you'll notice. I use a Miami Classic, Executive and a Half Harness with a standard horizontal holster and all are quality made and comfortable, especially the Miami Classic. |
