Good kydex (or other) for gun/light combo?

Hi all,

I want to have a holster to carry the house-gun around when I am just kicking around at home. It's a P220 that sports the SIG laser-light combo on the rail. I have holsters that work just fine with the P220, just without the light, and I thought it'd be nice to have an option that doesn't require me to strip the light off just to holster up.

Nate already explained to me in detail why it would be idiotic to cut a leather holster for a light---short version, if the mouth can stretch to accommodate the light then it can stretch to allow a trigger finger to get where it shouldn't be.

So I figure it'll be kydex, or maybe a nylon thigh-rig of some type. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Blade-Tech, Safariland or Side Armor all make Kydex holsters for pistol / light combos. You will need to check their web sites to see if they have the pistol/light combo you want. I found one on Blade-Tech's site for my Glock 22 / Insight M6X laser light combo. around 80 bucks.

Good Luck,

Stu
