Pure Kustom Holster review...

Picked up my custom "Black Ops" holster yesterday. My review is the typical stuff you hear about these holsters.
Rocky is a master leather craftsman. The holster fits my Springfield EMP perfectly. A bit snug, but after a few hours with a plastic bag, its awesome.
The leather is very stiff & makes holstering & un-holstering a breeze.

It sits very tight against my waist OWB & conceals perfectly. IWB is also very comfortable, but I probably won't be concealing it too much, as the custom work is just to incredible not to show off.

Seems like some people shy away from the price, but I only need to buy one holster. You'll end up paying a couple hundy for two separate OWB & IWB holsters. It's the perfect dual use holster. OWB/IWB.
Makes good financial sense to me. (I've already given my Milt Sparks VM 2 to my Dad, as this is my new holster of choice)

Now on to the artwork. I sent Rocky a couple of pics & trusted him to work his artist magic. I was not disappointed. The tooling & detail were beyond my expectations. I originally had black in mind, but went with Rocky's recommendation of brown & am glad that I did, as it's a beautiful color & shows the detailing better. I have 2 other holsters I will be ordering & would probably go with the same color. Ordering some black straps could be an option to match my belt for IWB carry.

So here's my holster...(with a custom set of matching grips coming soon)

Rocky's pic is closer to the actual color.

Very nice. That stamping and carving are top notch.

Very nice Rocky never ceases to amaze me with his abilities. Got to break down and get one of his holsters.

Maybe Santa will be nice and bring me one.

Sweet.. Great looking holster.. I know how happy you are with it, I know how happy I am with mine,....

It is like buying a new weapon.. You can get cheap ones ( $190.00 ), but I don't know of anyone that is carrying one,. ,.. But we'll spend $600 -- $1200 for a beautiful gun and then be not willing to spend a couple hundred on a top quaility holster,. ??? We all agree that the holster makes or breaks our carrying comfort,.. I recommend Rocky's holster to anyone that wants to only buy one more holster for life.. .

Rockey, You do great work. That is a beautiful holster. When I am ready, I need to come up with a design to make mine more unique.

There are several post on this site asking should I buy from so and so. Alot of empty promises. Here is a holster maker that delivers more than is expected from him. I have not bought one yet but I sure will.

that's friggin rad... and it's cool you live in a state where you can show it off!

JCAz, could you post some pics that show how well that puppy conceals? I just bought a Springfield Micro Compact and am deciding on a holster for it

P.S. sweet grips... where did you get them?
