How do you carry (majority)? IWB or OWB (Belt Holster)

How do you comfortably carry IWB? Bigger Pants? Lose Weight?

I have always carried via Desantis Speed Scabbards for all my guns since first getting my CCP. I tried IWB in the shop and found it very uncomfortable from day one.

I have scabbards for my Walther P990, H&K USP COMPACT & my new Custom Defender.

Am I missing out? Seems like most forum members carry IWB.

So I figured lets ask via POLL?

Vote based on Majority of Carry Time.

Well, I voted 'other'. Reason being that I carry any way I want to at the right time. IWB, or OWB for me, and both. Majority of my carry would be IWB actually.

IWB 90% of the time, on a long road trip then it's the shoulder holster.

I carry IWB always to conceal. I carry a Comp-tac C-tac and find it very comfortable. But I am only 150#, so there are no love handles to get in the way.

IWB most of the time...usually tucked behind my strong side kidney with a palm out draw.

Larger pants help but I found my regular size pants stretched just enough. T-shirt/undershirt for extra comfort also helps. I mostly carry IWB but I also do carry OWB at work since it is hot and humid. I don't have to conceal at work so OWB is more comfortable usually. I alternate carry with an XD45acp and my Springfield 1911. The 1911 is almost always carried OWB.

It takes time to adjust to IWB carry but with a good holster and a good belt it becomes really comfortable considering.

I couldn't put it any better, Ram Rod.
Since summer began, I have opted more for OWB. I carry my 1911 Govt. in one of Rocky's Black Ops holsters. I can go IWB or OWB with it at any time.
