I need help finding a holster...

Close isn't close enough. Please help me track down a holster that meets these criteria.

1: Leather.
2: Right hand draw.
3: Black.
4: Open top.
5: Paddle type or snap to the belt type, for easy on and off.
6: Retention screw (or good enough manufacturer not to need it.).
7: In stock, not a custom job that takes months and months.
8: Fit to a 3 inch S&W Model 65. Not a 4 inch that hangs off the pistol, not a 2 inch open bottom that the pistol sticks out of. Made for the 3 inch.
9: Forward cant or straight up draw.
10: Not over $100.

Does this even exist, or am I dreaming? Certainly the stipulations with a price limit make things tough.

Any thoughts?

The best I've seen is an older (but new in package, it seems to say) Kramer paddle on Ebay. Opening bid is $50. I'll bid on it, but likely my $100 won't get it...

Blackhawk CQC holsters, there are a few differant types that fit your bill. I actally like a retention strap model, but they do have one just like you described.

Try FIST. They most likely can meet your needs.

I don't see anytihing on the Blackhawk site that is workable. In their leather shop, they have snap ons and paddles, but not for a k frame S&W.

The FIST snap on holster will be hard to beat, however. I think it's exactly right. The only thing I see that another holster might do better on is lead time. The FIST site says 6 to 8 weeks. In truth, that's not even all that bad... Excellent referal at $73.

FIST, INC.

And in fairness, a paddle would beat out the snap on, all other things being equal. But the FIST paddle is $125.

FIST, INC.

Anyone else have a suggestion?

The FIST site does say 6 to 8 weeks but I have always received mine in about 5 weeks. The quality, the customer service, the large selection and the huge number of guns they can accomodate as well as the relatively fast turnaround time all make this company hard to beat. I've always been satisfied with them.

Yup, it's gonna be hard to beat that one.

I didn't win the Ebay Kramer holster, so I ordered from FIST. I ordered a black type #2 Snap On with IWB adapters. I think I'll be happy with that!

Thanks again for the recommendation.

You will enjoy the FIST with the IWB adapters. I have one for my Kahr K9. IWB conceals better anyway.

FIST Charged my card today. I guess that means my holster is "in the works". I hope to have some Holster Porn to show in the next 5 weeks or so...

This will be for my buffed out S&W 65.
